The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout my visit. The pool was a delight! I saw a nice Halloween activity. The breakfast buffet offered varied choices including healthy options and the standard English breakfast.
The rooms could use a small update.

The spa facilities were acceptable.
The room was dated. The bathroom fixtures especially looked old. There was no power shower, just a simple showerhead in the bath (a bit disappointing, honestly). Some of the staff also did not seem very attentive.

The staff were cute, helpful, and professional. They seemed enthusiastic. The setting of this hotel is superb and the facilities are excellent. The food was also of a high standard (especially the breakfast buffet!). The buildings inside and out are beautiful, as are the garden areas with their wonderful trees.
The decor and everything from furniture to phones felt a little dated.

The staff was cute. The Beautiful Bedroom had a very acceptable temperature (it was winter!). The bed was super comfortable. The pool was also very nice. I enjoyed the relaxation area with complimentary tea and coffee. The grounds are beautiful, and there's plenty of parking.
The rooms could use a bit of an update, though they are perfectly functional.

The breakfast buffet had many options. There were also gluten-free options available. The gym had top-standard equipment and the sauna was HOT.
The queue for check-in was long. I ALSO overheard another guest complaining about the wait time. I was hit with a deposit at arrival. It was a BIT of a shock.
